As a Financial Risk Management Consultant based in our Kansas City office, Bob proactively assists L&E customers in creating solutions related to the financial aspect of their risk management program. Bob's broad experience in analyzing every type of insurance program over his career offers a clear advantage to L&E customers. Bob provides Loss Projections for the purpose of forecasting a future policy period, Accruals on past policy periods, and Ultimate expected losses for the negotiation of self-insured customers' Collateral requirements with the insurance companies. He is a resource concerning all types of Loss Sensitive programs and will assist L&E customers in solving problems on past programs. He will assist their decision-making processes involving program selection from a risk taking perspective on new programs. Bob also is a resource for a broad range of value added analytical services for customers (i.e. Loss Stratifications, Experience Rating Analysis, Allocation Programs, Business Interruption Limit Analysis, to name a few). Bob joined Lewis & Ellis in 2008 after 21 years with three P&C Insurance brokers, Marsh & McClellan, Lockton, and Gallagher and prior to that, 10 years at various insurance companies.
In his spare time, Bob leads a men's group and is active with his wife in the Marriage Ministry of his church. He has three children, two in college and one graduated. When driving by himself, Bob leaves his cell phone on vibrate because he would not hear it ring above the Christian Rock and Worship music he likes to listen to.
