As a Consulting Actuary and L&E Vice President, Tim brings over 13 years of diverse actuarial consulting experience. Tim serves as Appointed Actuary for a number of client companies. His well-rounded knowledge of the life insurance industry has enabled him to develop expertise in building and applying actuarial models. He has worked with over a dozen companies to develop models used for corporate planning, appraisals and asset adequacy testing. Tim also plays a leading role in the training of clients and L&E personnel in the use of LEAPPS® and related actuarial software. In addition, his background includes life and annuity product development, illustration testing, experience studies and statutory valuation. Tim, a former University of Kansas bowling coach, enjoys golf, basketball, bowling and spending time with his family.
