Mike’s former career as a college mathematics professor is where he learned to communicate technical concepts clearly and professionally. Since then, Mike has gained over 17 years of actuarial experience, focusing on health insurance. Mike’s experience includes self-insured association expertise from implementation to growth and steady state, big data analytics, ACA implementation, individual & commercial group pricing, trend studies, financial forecasting, rate filing, rate review, and grant applications. More recently, Mike lead the actuarial analysis of a successfully approved 1332 Waiver program. While away from work, Mike enjoys quality time with his wife, family and friends, particularly sporting events, concerts and motorcycle rides.
