Chris joined Lewis & Ellis in 2026, bringing more than two decades of experience solving complex business, actuarial, and risk management challenges. Since beginning his actuarial career in 2004, he has worked with organizations across the insurance industry to develop practical, data-driven solutions tailored to each client's unique objectives and operating environment.

Chris specializes in risk modeling, strategic decision support, actuarial analytics, and process improvement. His work frequently combines Monte Carlo simulation, quantitative risk analysis, operational enhancements, and strategic planning to help clients better understand uncertainty, evaluate alternatives, and make informed business decisions.

His experience spans virtually every segment of the insurance industry, including life, annuities, variable annuity guarantees, health, property & casualty, disability, captive insurance, dental, catastrophe, credit, pet insurance, and other specialty markets. He is particularly known for tackling unconventional challenges and developing innovative solutions for problems that do not fit traditional actuarial approaches.

Chris believes every client engagement begins with understanding the business before solving the technical problem. By asking thoughtful questions, listening carefully, and collaborating closely with clients, he develops solutions that are analytically rigorous, practical to implement, and aligned with each organization's strategic goals.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys teaching chess, mathematics, and blues improvisation to children with unique learning needs.
