Glenn Tobleman currently serves as Executive Vice President of Lewis & Ellis. With over 40 years of insurance and consulting experience, Glenn has gained a great deal of insight into the workings of insurance companies and businesses that choose to self-insure various risks. Glenn is one of a small group of people in the U.S. who has achieved Fellowship in both the Society of Actuaries and the Casualty Actuarial Society. He has significant knowledge and experience in Life, Annuity, Health, Property and Casualty fields, and uses that expertise to help clients meet strategic goals and improve bottom-line profitability. Glenn serves as the Appointed Actuary for several clients, and he appreciates the friendships that he has built with many long-term clients. Glenn enjoys watching and playing several sports, as well as playing the guitar and singing. He is an active member of his local church.

Spoke at the IASA Texas Chapter 2012 Fall Conference's
Life and P&C Actuarial Update session in Irving, Texas. Staying up to date on the best practices in analyzing and calculating the biggest liability on the balance sheet is vital as companies re-shape their products to meet current consumer needs and more effectively estimate future unpaid losses. This session discussed current considerations for both P&C and life insurance companies. In addition, Glenn specifically discussed the principle-based approach to setting reserves for Life Insurance companies (“PBR”) and provided examples of how reserves will be computed based on a principle-based approach.

Facilitator at the 2010 Valuation Actuary Symposium's Session 48 IF - Valuation Actuary Forum in Chicago. This interactive forum provided appointed actuaries and others with high-level involvement the opportunity to discuss with their industry peers the issues of greatest interest to them in fulfilling their duties and responsibilities.

Participated in a panel at the 8th Annual Executive Educational Conference's Special Pre-Conference Seminar: "Securitization in South Carolina" in Charleston. The panel discussed "Actuarial, Accounting and Legal Analysis of a Securitization Transaction".
11/2005
Spoke at the Actuaries' Club of the Southwest (ACSW) in Plano, Texas. Glenn headed up a session titled "Impact Valuation Mortality and Interest Changes for Life Insurance Products".
