Kevin lends guidance and actuarial expertise to insurers and regulatory agencies regarding several accident and health insurance markets. He is actively involved in pricing and product development, regulatory actuarial review, and financial valuation of health insurance carriers.Kevin has experience developing customized models to analyze the complex risks faced by insurance companies offering both short-term coverages and long-term coverages. He assists clients with pricing and reserving a variety of products including Medicare Advantage and long-term care insurance.As a consultant, Kevin also assists federal and state regulatory bodies with the actuarial review of insurers’ rate filings and financial examinations. This includes playing a role in the Effective Rate Review of Affordable Care Act policies for multiple states. He is a member of the L&E team which assists the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (“CMS”) with the bid review process for Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug plans.
