Moshe Nelkin, FSA, MAAA is a Senior Consulting Actuary in the Dallas office. Based in Baltimore, he has over 20 years of insurance industry actuarial experience before joining Lewis & Ellis. Moshe has expertise in all areas of Medicare Supplement, including product development, assumption setting, rate filing, experience analysis and reserving. He is experienced with Retiree Medical and a variety of Supplemental Health products as well.Prior to joining L&E in 2023, he was a Senior Actuary at Transamerica where he worked for 21 years. During this time, he was responsible for all aspects of pricing and managing the Agency block of Medicare Supplement business that grew to $200MM in annual premium. This included presentations to Senior Management and Risk committees on product strategy. He also had responsibility for the quoting and renewal processes for Retiree Medical and Supplemental Health lines of business.Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, hiking, and preparing food for family events.
