John O'Dell joined Lewis & Ellis in 2013 after serving for the Blues in the health insurance industry, bringing significant experience in the commercial individual and group health markets. John has done considerable work related to ACA implementation and healthcare reform analysis, and has had a primary focus in the pricing and development of various supplemental health products.John has also been a key member of the L&E team assisting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (“CMS”) with the bid review process for Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plans. Additionally, he has been engaged in an ongoing role in the annual/quarterly valuation and financial reporting for a long term client.In his spare time, John enjoys watching sports and strumming the guitar. He is a Cornhusker born and raised, so his fall Saturdays almost certainly revolve around the Husker football schedule.
Education
John holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a master's degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Nebraska.Articles Published
